The champions’ league of accuracy. Guided tour 2: Injection moulding. 22 Our injection moulds are the beating heart of Allit. They are thousand-kilo steel pacemakers serving a single purpose: serving us. They provide the moulds in which our products are created, seven days and 21 shifts a week, in some cases producing several million items per year, and in the case of the sealing ring no less than 1.3 billion! But more on that later. The task of injection moulds is as simple as it is fundamental: they keep our system alive. They guarantee the never-ending marathon of production, though it sometimes has to become more of a sprint as we massively streamline the production cycle.
