Allit AG Kunststofftechnik
75 Visiting with children Children are welcome and should find a visit to Allit an exciting experience: the world of engineering, endless production plants filled with huge machines, clean facilities with strict hygiene requirements and historic stables: inspiration is all around. However, on safety grounds Allit asks you not to leave children unattended as the premises are full of temptations to touch things and crawl around the machinery. Language At Allit we cultivate a very colloquial, friendly and respectful mode of speaking. In all proba- bility a cold drink will be offered to you before long, so you can look forward to excellent hospitality. Festivities In the evening you can pay a visit to the old Gewölbekeller (vaulted cellar), one of the most popular night spots for Allitians. Holidays On a few days Allit is transformed, as every- thing falls silent: at Christmas, on New Year’s Eve and during company celebrations. Tradi- tionally, all the machines are cleaned on 23 December. If you have ever wanted to view the internal workings of an injection-moulding machine, that would be the right time. Sporting activities Allit and its residents are very sporting and dynamic. Based on the individual initiative of a few employees, the tradition of participating in the Bad Kreuznach company run has developed since 2010. In 2010, 85 Allitians took part to the raucous accompaniment of countless vuvu- zelas, even crossing the finishing line en masse. In 2011, the number rose to 137 Allitians, and once again they crossed the line as a group, this time tied together by a rope – symbolising the fact that we at Allit all pull together. In 2012, you guessed it, as many as 160 Allitians took part, and true to the motto ‘Allit under one flag’, all of them once again crossed the line together, running underneath a giant Allit flag. A team that stands together and sometimes even runs together: Allit at the company fun run in Bad Kreuznach.
