On Friday, 28 November 2025, Hans Kallinowsky received this year’s Entrepreneur Award from the Rhine-Nahe-Hunsrück Regional Initiative. The award was presented by Daniela Schmitt, Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture in Rhineland-Palatinate, and by Stefan Langenfeld, Chairman of the Rhein-Nahe-Hunsrück Regional Initiative.
In her laudatory speech, Ms Schmitt paid tribute not only to the award winner’s economic success but, above all, to his character. She described Hans Kallinowsky as a strong role model who embodies the virtues of ‘wanting to achieve something’ and ‘a desire for responsibility and work’ in a special way. Langenfeld added that being an entrepreneur was ‘a perfect fit’ for Hans Kallinowsky.
Hans Kallinowsky expressed his gratitude for the award and emphasised that he accepted the prize above all as a positive signal for his family. He said he was proud of his successors and family and knew how important it was to get through difficult times together, keep their heads held high and act with courage.
In addition to the trophy, which is designed in the DHSM’s corporate colours, Hans Kallinowsky received a cheque for €5,000. The prize money, he explained, would go to the Sophia Kallinowsky Foundation.
